Our History

Skyways Technics officially came to being in 2012, however its runway dates back to its 60-year airline and 20-year ATR foundations.
Skyways Technics is built on years of knowledge and experience.

1950

Sønderjyllands Flyselskab established.

1966

Sønderjyllands Flyselskab earns a new name: Cimber Air

2004

Cimber Air Maintenance Center A/S (CAMC) established, maintaining for:

- Three ATR 42-500

- Three ATR 72-202

- Three ATR 72-500

- Eleven CRJ200

2012

CAMC and its spare part stock acquired by Skyways Technics.

2014

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia expansion, Skyways Technics Asia Sdn Bnd established.

2016

Skyways Technics joins the ATR MRO Network .

Dubai, United Arab Emirates expansion, Skyways Technics FZCO established.

2017

Satellite Base Maintenance station for B737 launched in Kiev, Ukraine.

New shop facilities in Billund Hangar commence.

2018

Miami, United States of America expansion, Skyways Technics Americas established.

Kuala Lumpur facilities expansion.

2019

Kaunas, Lithuania expansion, Skyways Technics established with a focus on recruitment.

2020

Kuala Lumpur and Miami growth, new facilities established.

Skyways Technics shares fully owned by Chief Executive Officer, Benjamin Nielsen.

2022

Kuala Lumpur Workshop expansion.

Skyways Technics signed a partnership with Prodex to expand its presence to Paris.

2023

Debrecen, Hungary expansion,
