Skyways Technics A/S sold in a Management Buy-Out
Skyways Technics A/S Chief Executive Officer Mr. Benjamin Nielsen purchased 100% of the shares in Skyways Technics A/S on Friday 25th September 2020.
Skyways Technics A/S was established in May 2012 as a continuation of the aircraft maintenance activities in the Cimber Sterling Group. Benjamin Nielsen headed the launch of Skyways Technics as well as the international development hereafter with activities in Malaysia, Dubai and the United States.
Like most of the aviation industry, Skyways Technics business is affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Actions to adjust the organization was taken early in the spring, when it was clear that the market would not return to its past level anytime soon.
Thus, Skyways Technics will exit the year 2020, adjusted to the new reality in an aviation industry characterised by great uncertainty as to when and how the market will return.
”Despite the last 6 months having been the most challenging and difficult time in my aviation career, I have a strong belief that the industry will return to its pre Covid-19 level.
In Skyways Technics we have taken the actions needed as fast and firmly as we possibly could, enabling us to get through this Covid-19 period and stand stronger than ever when the market returns. I am satisfied and sure of my decision to acquire Skyways Technics and continue the development for the benefit of all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, partners and employees.”
