Skyway Technics is looking for an Accountable Manager for its upcoming facility located in Debrecen, Hungary. The Accountable Manager will launch and grow Skyways Technics' new structure workshops in Hungary (target opening end Q2 2023), taking its EMEA internal repair business to new heights. The person will manage the daily operations and drive the site development, reporting to the Group Head of Repair.
Responsibilities:
● Launch Skyways Technics' new facilities in Debrecen, Hungary, successfully: from facility completion and certification to staffing and daily management of all operations;
● Successfully become the nominated postholder/ Accountable Manager on part-145 level, responsible towards the various local national aviation authorities in the region and abroad, such as but not limited to the local CAA and FAA;
● Be accountable for the branch P&L following up on yearly budget plans and match executive management’s and board of directors’ expectations towards the continued development of the business as well as the financial sales and EBIT results;
● Develop the organization of the Hungarian branch and establish efficient structure and processes;
● Improve production efficiency and increase profitability while managing the overall part-145 operations;
● Propose, launch, and complete capacity and capability development plans;
● Interface with all types of stakeholders within the Skyways Technics repair organization, on an international level;
● Nurture a motivating and engaging work environment for all staff through active leadership;
● Ensure delivery and quality of the services rendered to customers;
● Collaborate with other business and support units in the Skyways Technics group, located in Denmark, Malaysia, Dubai, Miami, and Lithuania.
Requirements:
· Aviation industry experience with proven results and network
· Managerial experience in Part-145 operations
· Education in international business, management, marketing, technical or aviation-related areas, preferably MBA or Msc
· IT skills: agility with Microsoft Office and ready to quickly grasp our ERP system (Pentagon 2000)
· Good in numbers that comes from commercial, finance, or other experience/background

- Communicate effortlessly in spoken and written English is a must
